The wonderful thing is there are no specific rules in journaling but its nice to have journals for specific topics. you have such beautiful items on the website and some very creative collaborators, that is how I ended up here. looking at this wonderful site.

I am so fortunate to have discovered art and reflective journalling. It makes me so happy. Good article and description of different types of journalling. The great thing is that you don’t have to stick to one method.

Sylvia,
This is the most inspiring and well written article on the topic of journaling I’ve read. Thank so much for the time and knowledge you have shared! You have given me the explanation of why and the details on how I can journal with purpose and confidence. I enjoy the process of putting together a junk journal, but now I will create my pages with journaling in mind rather than filling so much of the pages with graphics. One of the benefits I got from reading your article are the many categories I can use to record bits and pieces of my life. The second, are the awesome photos you chose to add. They inspire me to begin creating with my own style. Up until now, I’ve not found the idea of taking time to journal appealing. Now I will have a beautiful place to write the bits and pieces of my life. I’m already imagining the many genres I can use to share who I am for my children and grandchildren. I just finished reading this and I’m anxious and motivated to begin my journal. I might even write about my thoughts on my mind as I complete each page! Oh, you should be sharing this in more venues if possible. I don’t think I’m the only person who will feel much the same. I’ll be creating Junk Journal themes with so much more purpose.
I feel very cheap now to say this, I would have loved to have a way to download this article with all the photos as a PDF to keep as my ‘bible’ for all my future journaling future projects, because I know I will be creating them. Thank you again and MANY accolades to you, Beth
